My husband and I started this church in 1999. I was the staff team leadership trainer. My responsibilities included general leadership training, as well as training and leadership development for the department leaders. I also led the music team as the creative director.
WILDFLOWER EVENTS CENTER
I founded the Wildflower Events Center in Micanopy, Florida. One of my greatest pleasures in life is to offer the gift of hospitality. I believe it is important for a host to create an inviting atmosphere where the food and drink sufficiently satisfy and impress the guests by helping them feel welcome in a unique and aesthetically pleasing environment. The business was retired and the venue has since been sold. However, my goal for the Wildflower Event Center was to be a venue of distinction, set with an unforgettable and beautiful, yet comfortable arrangement for wedding receptions and personal parties, which included various special meetings and events.

MASTER'S SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP
As founder and CEO of the Master's School of Leadership (MSL), my vision is to help individuals develop their full potential. This vision was born after years of seeing many gifted people waste their talents. I discovered the lack of leadership training as a key factor that prevents individuals from fully realizing their potential. My vision was cast and 14 students committed to a six hour session on one Saturday per month for a year in the charter class. We accomplished my proposed goals through the curriculum I authored, which included developing problem solving skills, as well as research and writing competencies. Various other critical components I deem to be successful leadership strategies were implemented such as public speaking tactics, as well as the adaptation of servant and transformational leadership styles. I also hosted special speakers who have proven leadership capabilities to lecture the students in their areas of expertise. The students also participated in the MSL coaching program. There were 14 students who completed the criteria and successfully graduated with a memorable ceremony. Their efforts were honored with an accomplished keynote speaker and the presentation of awards, as well as diplomas. My dream is to to develop a charitable organization that reaches out to and empowers disadvantaged single women.

I help leaders develop a strategic plan around their goals and gain buy-in from their followers to move forward with the necessary actions for accomplishing their objectives. It is always my ambition to make sure the team I am working with feels they are being heard, valued, and empowered.
